Before referring
Carter Health Group provides outpatient telehealth care for patients physically located in Texas. Referral acceptance depends on clinical fit, current capacity, available records and whether telehealth is an appropriate level of care. Patients requiring emergency, inpatient, detoxification, residential or other facility-based treatment will be directed to an appropriate level of care.
Do not send protected health information through ordinary email. Secure referral instructions will be provided through Carter's protected clinical channels.
