Women’s Mental Health

Carter Seasons™

Whole-person care for every season of you.™

A woman’s mental health can change with her body, responsibilities, relationships, identity, and stage of life. Carter Seasons offers psychiatric care that listens for those connections without reducing you to a diagnosis or a hormone.

Who this may support

Mental-health care that recognizes the season you are in.

  • Anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or mood symptoms in adult women
  • Postpartum depression, anxiety, mood changes, or difficulty adjusting after birth
  • PMDD and menstrual-cycle-related changes in mental health
  • Perimenopause- or menopause-related mental-health concerns
  • Stress, sleep disruption, caregiving strain, identity changes, and major life transitions

What care can include

Care built around more than one symptom.

01

Women-centered evaluation

Symptoms are considered alongside psychiatric history, physical health, medications, sleep, substance use, menstrual or reproductive context, culture, family, and daily responsibilities.

02

Psychiatric treatment

Care may include medication management, education, monitoring, safety planning, and coordination with therapy, primary care, or women’s-health clinicians.

03

Postpartum mental-health support

Evaluation and outpatient psychiatric treatment can address postpartum mood and anxiety symptoms, with referral or collaboration when obstetric, medical, or higher-level care is needed.

Right care. Right setting.

Clear boundaries protect good care.

Carter Seasons provides women-centered outpatient psychiatric care. It does not replace obstetric, gynecologic, fertility, prenatal, hormone-prescribing, emergency or inpatient care. When another service or level of care is needed, the next step will be addressed clearly.
