Addiction & Co-Occurring Care

Carter Integrate™

Recovery connected to the whole person.™

Mental health and substance use often affect one another. Carter Integrate brings them into the same clinical picture so treatment does not ask you to choose which part of your health deserves attention first.

Who this may support

When substance use and mental health need to be treated together.

  • Alcohol, opioid, stimulant, sedative, or other substance-use concerns
  • Depression, anxiety, trauma, mood symptoms, or sleep disruption during recovery
  • Medication treatment for substance use when clinically appropriate
  • Relapse risk, changing motivation, or difficulty sustaining early recovery
  • A need for coordinated psychiatric and recovery planning

What care can include

Care built around more than one symptom.

01

Integrated assessment

Substance use, psychiatric symptoms, medications, medical risks, withdrawal history, recovery environment, and treatment history are evaluated together.

02

Evidence-based treatment

Care may include psychiatric medication management, recovery medications when appropriate, relapse-prevention planning, and referrals for therapy or peer support.

03

Continuity through Carter Beyond

When you are leaving detoxification, residential care, or hospitalization, Carter Beyond can support the next phase of outpatient stabilization.

Right care. Right setting.

Clear boundaries protect good care.

Carter Integrate is outpatient care and does not provide unsupervised withdrawal management or replace detoxification, residential, inpatient, or emergency treatment. Clinical fit and safety are reviewed before treatment begins.
